Prior to Consulting with SP Law, Stephen was a Consultant in Wellingborough with Ryan & Frost Solicitors. Before that Stephen was a Partner and Head of Litigation with Hoben Johnson Solicitors in Wellingborough and Rushden. Stephen handles a range of civil litigation matters, and as well as appearing in the County Courts, has appeared in Employment Tribunals, the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) and the British Horseracing Authority.
Stephen is an accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator and also an accredited Workplace Mediator and has mediated over 95 mediations.
In 2017 Stephen was appointed to the Panel of Chairpersons for the Valuation Tribunal of England hearing appeals concerning Council Tax and Non-Domestic Rates.
Before being admitted as a Solicitor in 2002 Stephen was Called to the Bar in 1998.
Outside of the law Stephen is a Parish Councillor and a member of the Daventry and South Northants Police Independent Advisory Group.
