CORONAVIRUS STATEMENT 08/02/2021
As cases of Coronavirus continue across the country, we would like to take this opportunity to reassure everyone that the firm is still open for business as usual.
As a firm we have business continuity plans in place to deal with unexpected situations like this. We have put measures in place to ensure that we are able to adapt our working practices and continue to deliver legal services to our clients, whilst protecting our people, our clients, and our communities. We are confident that these measures will ensure business continuity at all times.
In order to minimise any risk of spreading the virus, we would kindly ask visitors to refrain from attending our offices unless it is essential for you to do so. Where it is considered essential to attend the office, the risk of doing so will be considered on a case by case basis. However, if you are feeling unwell or are showing any of the symptoms, we may respectfully request that you call us instead.
In the event of a complete lock down or ban on travel, we will still be able to operate – all of our IT systems are set up for remote home working.

NEW CYBERCRIME ALERT – Dear All, it has come to our intention that our “sp-law” domain is being spoofed. You may receive an email which appears to be from one of our genuine emails accounts but is in fact fake. In the current attempt, “< >” is added to either side of an email address which otherwise appears to be genuine e.g. “<info@sp-law.co.uk>”. In another variation, “from:” is added to the start of an email address. In the current attempt, the telephone numbers given in the email footer are fake and clearly not Northampton or Wellingborough numbers.We do not use mobile telephone numbers. We urge all our clients to be vigilant and to report any suspicious emails to us. If in doubt, please call us on the telephone numbers that appear on our website. Many thanks.
