We wanted to take this opportunity to remind you to be vigilant for phishing emails/messages – look out for emails that don’t seem quite right or contain subtle misspellings or inaccuracies.
One example might be an email from a domain such as “sp-law.com” which whilst close, is different to our actual domain of “sp-law.co.uk”. It is even possible that the email may contain a genuine chain of emails below.
Finally, please keep in mind that we will never ask you via email to update or change our bank details or due to a change in our working practices to send us money (and we confirm that our bank details have not changed).
If you do receive any request for a transfer of money (even if it appears to be genuine) or an email that you find suspicious, please call us immediately on 01604 638905 to confirm whether it is legitimate and from us before following any instructions. Always speak with a file handler or member of staff that you know i.e. a recognised voice.
