  • Prior to Consulting with SP Law, Stephen was a Consultant in Wellingborough with Ryan & Frost Solicitors.  Before that Stephen was a Partner and Head of Litigation with Hoben Johnson Solicitors in Wellingborough and Rushden.  Stephen handles a range of civil litigation matters, and as well as appearing in the County Courts, has appeared in Employment Tribunals, the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) and the British Horseracing Authority.
  • Stephen is an accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator and also an accredited Workplace Mediator and has mediated over 95 mediations.
  • In 2017 Stephen was appointed to the Panel of Chairpersons for the Valuation Tribunal of England hearing appeals concerning Council Tax and Non-Domestic Rates.
  • Before being admitted as a Solicitor in 2002 Stephen was Called to the Bar in 1998.
  • Outside of the law Stephen is a Parish Councillor and a member of the Daventry and South Northants Police Independent Advisory Group.
